VarsityLax ("we," "our," or "us") operates the VarsityLax mobile application (the "App") and the website at varsitylaxapp.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App or Site.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

VarsityLax is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal information necessary to operate the service:

• No account required. VarsityLax does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use the App.
• Favorite team preference. Your selected favorite team ID is stored locally on your device using standard iOS app storage (UserDefaults) and is never transmitted to our servers or shared with anyone.
• Usage analytics. We may receive anonymous, aggregated usage data (such as which screens are viewed most often) through Apple's built-in App Store analytics. This data cannot be used to identify individual users.
• Crash reports. If the App crashes, Apple may collect anonymous crash data to help us improve stability. This data does not include personal information.

INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT

We do not collect, store, or share:

• Your name, email address, or any contact information
• Your location data
• Your device's contacts, photos, camera, or microphone
• Payment or financial information
• Any data that can be used to identify you personally

RANKINGS AND SCORES DATA

The rankings, scores, and schedules displayed in VarsityLax are sourced from publicly available data provided by OHSLA (ohsla.net), LaxNumbers (laxnumbers.com), and LaxPower (laxpower.com). This data is retrieved by our servers every two hours during the season and displayed in the App. We do not collect any information about which teams or games you view.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

VarsityLax uses the following third-party services:

• Apple App Store. Distribution of the App is handled by Apple. Apple's privacy practices are governed by their own Privacy Policy.
• Railway. Our API is hosted on Railway (railway.com). Railway processes API requests but does not store user-identifiable data from our App.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

VarsityLax does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The App does not require any personal information to use. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately and we will delete it promptly.

DATA SECURITY

Since we do not collect personal information, there is no personal data stored on our servers that could be compromised. The rankings and scores data we serve is publicly available information.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
